Holiday weekend

Yes it is the last official weekend of the summer.  And since so many of the people in our area missed out on last weekend, they are making up for it this weekend.  How do I know?  Traffic!  Everyone is in a hurry to get to the beach and traffic is at a standstill.  Bumper to bumper from all points north and west and locally on beach highways. 

I’m staying home this weekend, except for maybe dinner out one night.  Mike and Kelly are on their way here now, and Steph and Jon were thinking about it.  That means a house full, but it will be nice for a change. 

I’m almost ready for them.  Back porch sewing room is pretty much packed up and back upstairs where it belongs.  All the boxes of T-shirts for the Screw Cancer sales have been delivered except for one large box, which I hope will be picked up this morning.  All the retreat T-shirts have been put away until after this weekend when I will sort them into retreat bins for delivery at the retreats.  All I really need to do to prepare for company is put this folding table away and put this lap top back upstairs.

So you may not hear from me, but I'll be back on Monday, after company goes home and we resume normalcy here!  I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend!
