September or December?

OK, so I know that days are getting shorter, winter coming and all that stuff, but today’s an odd day for sure.  I went out to get the mail and it is like September out, seriously, 72 degrees.  So when I came back in I opened up the windows, get some fresh air in here while we still can. 

However at 4:15 the sun is way down, already hiding behind the neighbors’ trees.  Certainly had me fooled, I thought it might stay up longer since it was so warm out.  And the lower it dips the lower the temperature falls, time to close the windows and turn on some lights, already…
