Bird watching

We used to feed the birds all the time but stopped when we went on our cross country trip back in 08.  When we got home I realized that except for when the ground was frozen there was plenty to eat in our yard, and the bird numbers never changed. 

Before the storm on Tuesday I put up bird feeders, knowing that the ground would be frozen for a few days.  This morning those feeders are quite busy and it has give KG something new to watch out the window… he seems to really like the cardinals.
