Old and New

I've been looking at old quilts of mine, trying to decide what to get rid of, since I am not traveling to teach any more I have no excuse to keeping so many quilts.  I want to sell some of them, to make money to pay for more quilting and of course for my charities, BeBold, Be Bald and Relay For Life.  And the smaller quilts I will donate to charity, most likely Bob's Blankie Brigade

But some of them I really don’t want to get rid of, which ones is a hard decision to make.
So I was looking at my “No Blue Balls” quilt and decided to try to make another circular log cabin. I'm going to see what it would look like done in batiks, using jelly rolls and a purchased fabric for the skinny strips. Next decision will be which jelly roll to use... I need two king size quilts so will have to be more than one jelly roll for sure.

  2. I didn't say I was going to get rid of this one, I don't think I can. But I want to make another one too, not for me, for a gift.
