African Violets

I seem to have pretty good luck with violets, although sometimes it takes them a while to bloom. A long time ago someone told me to water my violets with egg water… soak egg shells in a glass of water till you can’t stand the smell, then water the violets with the water. It seems to work, because almost as soon as I water I get blooms… lovely I think.
