What happened to Spring?

I went out on the deck early yesterday morning to take the photo of the forsythia and it was lovely out. Today there is no sun at all, so dark I have lights on inside, and it is pouring rain and it’s only 43 degrees out there… I am done with this cold damp stuff, bring on the warmer weather please.

Yes I went outside today and more than just on the deck too, I ventured out into the world. We went to visit someplace, stopped in to see a friend at the tax office (She’s my friend because we’re getting a refund!) and ran a few errands. I mostly sat in the car, but it was nice to get out.

We actually ran into someone I knew while we were shopping for a slip cover for a love seat. I hadn’t seen her in years and it was fun to see someone I knew. I miss seeing friends in person. All my internet friends are nice, and I enjoy your company tremendously, but there is just something special about having a real conversation and even more, getting a real hug.
